Meet The Company

SEQUENTRIC Energy Systems, LLC is based in Wilmington, NC.

During the past three years, Sequentric has developed SmartSequencing(TM), an electrical demand control technology. The R&D effort is complete and the system is now fully operational.   Pilot homes have been successfully running for over one year. With a product now available, the company is emerging from "stealth" mode.

The company has been accepted as a North Carolina Qualified Business Venture (QBV). Since inception, the company has been solely funded by its founder.

Company Information

Electrical utility “demand-side management” will play a major role in the long term energy plan of the United States. Although US government and State of North Carolina legislation encouraging implementation of demand management programs have been adopted, only about 1% of the nation’s 120 million homes use any form of these programs. While there are many reasons for this, the situation is rapidly changing with more and more utility companies recognize the benefits.

Sequentric Energy Systems, LLC, has developed and is now deploying SmartSequencing(TM) an electrical demand control technology for the electric utility companies. The technology, for which patents have been applied, helps utility companies to substantially reduce the electric demand placed on the power grid by residential electric usage.  By managing a systemic inefficiency present in all homes, Sequentric’s technology is proving effective in reducing peak and average electrical demand by over 50% and reducing monthly electric bills by as much as 40%.

Several large, investor-owned utility companies that provide power to over 15 million residential customers are now looking at Sequentric's SmartSequencing technology.
